Rituals of Angam Haramba
 
       An immense value is given to customs in Angam technique. The pupil is handed over to the Gurunnanse (teacher) by the pupil's mother. After the horoscope is read, worshipping Lord Buddha, a sheath of betel is offered to the Gurunnanse. Then the course of Angam Haramba is commenced after invoking the blessing of God Vishnu and breaking a coconut.
